NEW YORK (WFAN) — John Flaherty played three of his 13 years in the major leagues with the Yankees, from 2003-2005.
He was a member of the 2003 American League champions and has now spent the last 11 seasons as a Yankees broadcaster for the YES Network.
John’s experiences from being a 25th-round draft pick to playing in the World Series make for interesting stories, with lessons from Hall of Fame teammates and managers along the way.
Nominated for three Emmy Awards during his television career, Flaherty is an engaging and entertaining broadcaster. In this week’s episode of “30 With Murti” he tells Sweeny stories from his nearly 30 years around the game.
