The Yankees did nothing notable at the trade deadline besides adding Kenyan Middleton and Spencer Howard to bolster the pitching depth, which has been met with plenty of criticism. All of it justified, as a World Series “contender” shouldn’t be buried in last place with zero reinforcements on the way to help a terrible offense. That being said, the Yankees do have some prospects in the higher level of MiLB that could help them this season at various positions.
