The MLB trade deadline is just two days away and the New York Yankees trade rumors are starting to heat up. The Yankees are 52-50 and a strong start after the All-Star break has put them just four games back of the Wild Card. The Yankees have already dealt Aroldis Chapman for a solid return of prospects and shouldn't be done making deals quite yet. With that in mind, here all the latest Yankees trade rumors you need to know.
Yankees Shopping McCann?
One player that isn't part of the Yankees long-term future is catcher Brian McCann. That's why the team is exploring the trade market for him.
with good catching depth (romine, sanchez, others), yanks gauged interest in brian mccann. so far no deal.

A potential issue with McCann is that he's owed $17 million each of the next two years, plus a $15 million vesting option in the third year. That's a lot for a 32-year-old catcher, even if he does have plenty of power. The Yankees might need to take on some of his salary to get a deal done.
Interest In Carlos Beltran?
After yesterday's report that there was limited interest in Carlos Beltran, there are now at least two teams that are discussing Beltran with the Yankees.
indians have talked to yanks about a number of things, including beltran. but cleveland seems to have financial constraints

The Rangers have touched base with the Yankees about Carlos Beltran although it doesn't appear serious...
— TR Sullivan (@Sullivan_Ranger) July 29, 2016
The Indians' money issues help limit their pursuit of Aroldis Chapman, and Beltran's salary is even higher. The Rangers could use a DH with Prince Fielder done for the season. If the Yankees are willing to pick up some of Beltran's remaining salary, they might be able to facilitate a trade.
Yankees Open To Dealing Only Nova?
The Yankees aren't quite willing to enter a rebuild, which is why only Ivan Nova is on the trade block.
Team interested in SP said Cashman can move Nova but said not given permission yet to move Eovaldi/Pineda. Hal S. still try to win #Yankees

Nova's team control ends after this season, which is why Cashman has gotten the all clear. Nathan Eovaldi and Michael Pineda have more team control and it appears that Hal Steinbrenner believes the Yankees can still compete this year and next.
