The Miami Marlins and New York Yankees have officially agreed to the parameters of a trade that will send NL MVP Giancarlo Stanton to the Bronx, according to multiple reports.
Miami's new ownership had been looking to shed payroll starting with Stanton, who is owed between $25 million and $32 million each of the next 10 seasons. They also traded Dee Gordon to the Seattle Mariners earlier this week.
Miami had had tentative deals in place with the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals last week, but Stanton refused to waive his full no-trade clause for either club. Yesterday, he said he would waive that clause to be dealt to the Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, or Los Angeles Dodgers.

With New York, Stanton is expected to rotate between a corner outfield spot and DH with AL Rookie of the Year Aaron Judge and Brett Gardner.
Stanton hit .281 with 59 home runs and 132 RBIs in a career-high 159 games this season.
Yankees second baseman Starlin Castro will be heading to Miami as part of the deal, but the Marlins will also be getting a part of highly rated low-level prospects, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
The minor leaguers #Marlins are getting are Jorge Guzman and Jose Devers, who is Rafael Devers' cousin.

Guzman, 21, spent the last season playing for the Single-A Staten Island Yankees and went 5-3 with a 2.30 ERA in 13 starts.
Devers, 18, played in the Dominican Summer League and Gulf Coast League this year. In 53 total games, the shortstop hit .245 with one home run and 16 RBIs.
