After a lackluster playoff performance, the Yankees clearly need to do something to shake up their roster in 2013. Additionally, perenial all-star Alex Rodriguez not only played terribly in the playoffs but also was injured and needs serious hip surgery within the next month.
If the Yankees want to look to free agency their best bet might be former foe Kevin Youkilis. He would certainly fill A-Rods hole at third base and would add some much needed bat support in the Yankees lineup.

Reportedly the Yankees have already offered Kevin a one-year $12 million contract. This offer is far more lucrative than any other offer he has received thus far, so that chances that Youkilis come to New York are extremely high.
If we had to put our money on it right now, we would surely bet that big Kevin Youkilis will be wearing pin stripes this fall.
