It what could prove to be a troublesome bit of Yankees rumors for young New York Yankees starting pitcher Michael Pineda, a picture is now making its rounds around the internet that could potentially cause critics to label him as a cheater.
Per Yankees analyst Kenny Ducey's Twitter account, the following picture shows a foreign substance (most likely pine tar) on Michael Pineda's hand which Pineda could be using in order to get late movement on some of his pitches --

Michael Pineda has had his share of both injuries and criticism over the past couple years, as many critics believe that the young pitcher may not be able to escape his injury history to become the dominant pitcher the Yankees believed he could be when they traded for him a few years back.
Pineda has a very solid Spring Training with the Yankees in 2014, posting a 1.20 ERA in 15 innings pitched. He gave up just 14 hits in four appearances, striking out 16 against just one walk.
