In a "hold your breath" edition of Yankees news for your Sunday, New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter has been ruled out again for tonight's contest against the Boston Red Sox.

Originally most media outlets were under the impression that New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi sat Derek Jeter on Saturday for purely strategic reasons, especially since Girardi stated that he "wasn’t hired to put on a farewell tour" when it came to whether or not he put Derek Jeter into the lineup on a certain day.
However, with Jeter being ruled out for a second straight game, there is naturally going to be speculation over whether or not Jeter is fully healthy at this point or if nagging injuries are starting to creep up again.
We here at Chat Sports will have more on this breaking story in Yankees news as it develops.
