In a surprising trade between hated rivals, the New York Yankees have acquired veteran shortstop Stephen Drew in a trade with the Boston Red Sox.
According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the deal was just finalized:

After re-signing with the Red Sox just under two months ago, Drew has hit .176/.255/.328 in 39 games (131 at-bats).
