The New York Yankees team could have made it seven in a row against the Blue Jays but not when rain started falling during the latter part of the morning last Sunday. With the rain not showing any signs of giving up, the game was decided on to be postponed. And to think that there is still no makeup date announced.
Even Yankees Manager Joe Girardi said that it will continue on raining that the condition won’t be playable anymore. Hence, the AL East rivals will not meet right in the Bronx until August comes. CC Sabathia, Yankees Starter is set to pitch by Monday followed by Phil Hughes on Tuesday. This just means that rookie Vidal Nuno will remain open out of the bullpen until the entire team can find a way to get him back right into rotation.
