NY Yankees Rumors: Tommy Lasorda blasts A-Rod, could end up affecting Rodriguez' Hall of Fame credentials

With NY Yankees rumors swirling about players that will actually play in 2014, there is a whole different set of rumors and speculation surrounding suspended Yankees' slugger Alex Rodriguez.

Revered former Major League manager Tommy Lasorda sounded off on the A-Rod steroid scandal on Tuesday at a charity event in Manhattan, stating that Rodriguez "should have gotten more" of a suspension for his part in the Biogenesis steroid investigation.

In regards to the Hall of Fame, Lasorda blasted A-Rod, saying that "when someone breaks the rules, they don't belong in there." Lasorda added,"would you have your son get A-Rod's autograph? Would you like to have that?"

The beloved former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers is widely known to have a ton of respect from his peers in the game and in the baseball media. His damning view of Alex Rodriguez could end up as another nail in the NY Yankees slugger's diminishing Hall of Fame credentials.
