New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez's record 162-game suspension is just two games away from being history, and the 39-year-old is already planning for his comeback in 2015.
Per Brendan Kuty of NJ.com, A-Rod was given the green light by his insurance company to begin full preparations for next season:

New York Times report David Waldstein reports that A-Rod has been tripling up on his workout time to get things rolling for his return:

The Yankees still owe Rodriguez $61 million over the next three seasons, so it is likely that A-Rod isn't going anywhere anytime soon. After hitting just .244/.348/.423 (113 OPS+) with seven home runs in 44 games last year, Rodriguez will likely slot in as the team's DH with Martin Prado projected to start at third.
