We're still a couple months away from the 2015 MLB trade deadline, but that doesn't mean we can't look into our crystal ball for potential trade fits for the New York Yankees. Here's 3 Players The New York Yankees Could Trade For Before The Deadline.
SS Troy Tulowitzki -- Colorado Rockies
The Rockies are meandering at the bottom of the NL West standings once again and changes are bound to be afoot. No matter what Colorado management says publicly, dealing Tulo for a massive trade package of awesomeness is becoming more and more feasible by the moment. If the Yankees want a short-term boost and a long-term solution at short in one fell swoop, they can't do better than the dynamic Rockies SS.
Also, imagine the look on Mets fans' faces after this one...
OF Charlie Blackmon -- Colorado Rockies
Another Rockie who'll likely be the subject of many a trade rumor, Blackmon is a legit 20-20 threat with solid and consistent pop to his bat and enough speed to give opposing pitchers fits whenever he reaches base. He's be a heck of a table-setter or a solid #6 bat for a New York playoff run if the Yankees are willing to make a move.
RHP Dillon Gee -- New York Mets
Mets/Yankees trades are few and far between, but the Mets have a surplus of starting pitching at their disposal for which the Yankees could be a prime suitor. Whether it's Gee or rotation mate Jon Niese, the Bronx Bombers may be willing to sacrifice a mid-level prospect or two to add some veteran stability to the middle of the rotation.
