New York Red Bulls II suffered their second straight loss against North Carolina FC on Friday night. This is first-time the club has lost two consecutive contests since July 15, 2017.
“I think we have had a little bit of a hangover in that sense, you could see that maybe we did not have the same fight that we have had over the first run of games,” head coach John Wolyniec said.
Despite the results, Wolyniec believes that the team is taking the right steps. “I still think we are moving along, and this is just a bump in the road, and we are going to learn from it, and we are going to be better.
