New York Red Bulls homegrown and U.S. U-20 international, Tyler Adams, will depart for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea Republic in approximately two weeks.
“I’ll leave around May 10 or May 14, around those dates, and head to [South Korea] for the World Cup, so I’m excited for that.”
The Red Bulls will face Philadelphia Union on the road on May 6, and host LA Galaxy on May 14.
Adams helped guide the U-20 USMNT to its first CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which qualified the United States for the upcoming World Cup. He totaled four starts in the tournament and played all 90 minutes in three of his appearances.
