The Red Bulls made their first signing of the 2017 summer transfer window by acquiring midfielder Vincent Bezecourt on loan from New York Red Bulls II.
The move was announced several hours prior to the Red Bulls U.S. Open Cup match against the New England Revolution. Bezecourt appeared on the bench in that game but did not see the field.
The likelihood of Bezecourt receiving significant minutes with the first team, however, seems fairly small, given that he's behind Alex Muyl, Daniel Royer, Gonzalo Veron, and Derrick Etienne Jr on the depth chart.
Bezecourt was a big contributor to NYRBII's USL dominance in 2016.
