The Red Bulls finally announced teen midfield sensation Tyler Adams will leave the club to join Red Bulls sister club RB Leipzig in Germany.
The 19-year-old Adams will join Leipzig in January, according to the club. Terms of the transfer were not disclosed. The US national team midfielder has long been linked to a move to Leipzig over the last six months.
He’ll join former Red Bulls coach Jesse Marsch, who left the club in July to become an assistant coach for Leipzig. The club is currently in third in Germany’s Bundesliga.
