For the second time in three weeks New York Red Bulls II had two players selected to a 2018 USL Team of the Week. Stefano Bonomo scored a goal and added two assists while Brian White came off the bench and scored two goals within a span of six minutes in NYRB II’s 5-0 win against Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday. Bonomo’s performance earned him a spot in the starting eleven for the USL Team of the Week for Week 5 while White made the bench.
It was the third time a NYRB II player had been selected to a USL TOTW this year and the second time two players were selected in the same week.
