Sky Blue FC goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan has officially been allocated to the club as a Canadian subsidized player for the 2017 season. The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced on Wednesday the official list of Canadian Women's National Team subsidized players from the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA). Sheridan is one two rookies among 10 Canadian subsidized players who will be participating in the upcoming NWSL season.
“We are very excited about the news of Kailen’s allocation,” SBFC Head Coach Christy Holly said in a statement released by the club. “We know that she has a very bright future in the game, and she will be a very important piece for our club in the coming seasons.
