Citing Lazio Sporting Director Iglio Tare's comment that Miroslav Klose has wanted to return to Germany "since last year", Suddeutsche Zeitung's Birgit Schonau reports Eintracht Frankfurt is poised to repatriate the player.
Schonau suggests the (for the moment) Bundesliga club has tabled a one-year contract. It is also suggested the offer might be contingent on the team avoiding relegation by beating Nurnberg in an upcoming playoff to determine which side will have top-flight status next season.
Klose has been rumored to have interest from both Frankfurt and Wolfsburg to add to the offer allegedly made by the New York Red Bulls.
