The newest member of the New York Red Bulls coaching staff has started his work with the team. Bradley Carnell was at RBNY training for its Thursday training session this week.

Carnell's appointment had already been attributed to "our friends in Germany" by RBNY head coach Jesse Marsch. In an interview with Soccer Laduma, Carnell re-affirmed Marsch's comments:
It stems from 2001 when Ralf Rangnick was my coach at Stuttgart, and I had one of my best playing stints under him.
