Shortly after he officially signed with Paris-based club Red Star, Ronald Zubar gave an interview to Le Parisien in which he looked ahead to his time with his new team and back at his experience in MLS with the New York Red Bulls.
Asked to summarize that experience, Zubar - who also made clear he would have liked to stay at RBNY, but was forced to move on when contract negotiations stalled - said he felt he had improved for his time in MLS ("I think I have made progress in many areas") and offered an unqualified endorsement of the league in which he played for two seasons:
MLS has nothing to envy at some European championships.
