Report: Chivas Captain banned for Davis Choke Job

Concacaf have suspended Chivas captain Jair Pereira two games in the CCL after he choked RBNY's Sean Davis this week.

That is the breaking news heard throughout the soccer internet as our SB Nation Colleague Alicia Rodriguez of Angels on Parade as Guadalajara Captain Jair Pereira was suspended two CCL games for putting his hands on the throat of Sean Davis after the scuffle between Tyler Adams and Rodolfo Pizarro.

So while it may not even out with the number of players suspended for the second leg, it sounds like this is a big blow to the backline as well as the entire squad losing their Captain for such an important match.
