The New York Red Bulls are heading west to take on a San Jose Earthquakes club that has won a total of four games all season.
After an impressive 2-0 win over Atlanta United in their previous match, which now places New York a point back in the Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield standings, the club will be looking to carry the momentum from last Sunday’s match into Saturday’s game against San Jose, as they continue to pursue the top spot in MLS.
“Like always, we’re going to take one game at a time and try to make progress each time, and maybe now more than ever, take some of this momentum from this previous game and throw everything we can at San Jose,” Head Coach Chris Armas said during his media session on Wednesday.
