Recap: Red Bulls Extend Unbeaten Streak with 2-2 Draw at D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 21, 2016) – The New York Red Bulls earned a 2-2 tie against D.C. United on Sunday evening at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. Bradley Wright-Phillips and Felipe scored to extend New York’s unbeaten streak to eight MLS games.

New York is now 25-34-11 all-time against D.C., and 10-21-6 at RFK Stadium.

The match kicked off as scheduled, but a weather delay was called for in the 10th minute. It would be approximately 75 minutes before play resumed.

Bradley Wright-Phillips opened the scoring in the 38th minute, using his first touch to redirect a pass from Mike Grella by D.
