While it has been argued that the Red Bulls might need someone to help them with their players’ international paperwork, CD Olimpia is poised to suffer severe consequences for not getting their own players’ visa issues resolved.
On Monday, sports writer Eduardo Solano reported on Twitter that due to “visa issues”, Olimpia defenders Jonathan Paz and Dabirson Castillo, along with midfielder Brayan Moya, would not be traveling to the United States for the Thursday night match.
Paz and Moya both started for Olimpia against the Red Bulls last week, with Moya converting the penalty kick that leveled the match at 1-1.
