RBNY tangles with NYCFC again in US Open Cup

Another big event is coming to Red Bull Arena. Once again we will have the city become electric and the lights will be bigger and brighter as New York City will once again have another derby match being played at the stadium made for the game in this country.

On Thursday morning US Soccer created a brand new fourth round draw and drew thirty-two teams to face each other from eight different regions and with the Red Bulls in the Northeast region they were paired to play NYCFC for the second consecutive Open Cup season.

Being in a group that also had the New England Revolution and third round winner Louisville City who are the defending USL Cup Champions was going to be an interesting task and once the Draw assistants opened the envelops, the Red Bulls were chosen to host their match.
