The 2017 PDL season starts May 5, but the New York Red Bulls U-23s won't begin their campaign until May 20. Such is the nature of PDL: some teams are ready to go, others are still getting themselves together. The RBNY U-23s are certainly in the latter category.
Still, the Red Bulls have started to assemble a roster, and two players from what looks a lot like a partial list of RBNY U-23s for 2017 have made it on to a 50-man watch-list issued by PDL to mark the start of its new season.
