On Escobar:
“We are excited. We have been tracking him for awhile. During the Gold Cup, we were able to spend a little bit more time to get to know him and then I think it became clear that it was going to be a good fit. He has to acclimate to our environment, learn English and being in the U.S. We think he is a very talented young center back that plays the way we like to play and has a high potential to fit in our system.
On Murillo’s opinion to brining Escobar to the team:
“It is always useful to take the information that you get from people that you know, including players, but I think he was on our radar as we were evaluating [Michael] Amir [Murillo], as well.
