In the past two seasons, NYRB II have accumulated a 5-13-15 road record. This season the club has already won more road games than they did the last two years combined.
NYRB II have posted a 6-2-3 away record, which included two road wins last week over Nashville SC and Swope Park Rangers.
“Meaningful games on the road are difficult and to come away with two wins is impressive,” head coach John Wolyniec said.
The club still has six more road games left, including a tough trip to take on Indy Eleven on September 4.
“Obviously, we have a bunch of road games coming up, so it was kind of good to get those started with six points,” goalkeeper Evan Louro said.
