After the most successful season in New York City FC history, head coach Domenec Torrent is leaving the club.
The club announced Friday that the parties have “mutually agreed to part ways,” ending the Spaniard’s nearly 18-month run with the club.
“While I’ve greatly enjoyed coaching NYCFC and the incredible life experience of living in New York, in mutual discussion with the Club, I feel this is the right time for myself and my family to look for other opportunities as I develop my career as a head coach,” Torrent told the club’s official website.
