It can be assumed that RBNY will prioritize CCL for as long as it remains in that competition, which may mean the opening rounds of the club’s 2019 MLS campaign have something of a B-team flavor to them.
Nonetheless, the Red Bulls’ 2019 MLS season will start on March 2 against Columbus Crew, whether the club chooses to rest key starters for CCL or not.
