AS Monaco has claimed just its second win under head coach Thierry Henry, beating Amiens, 2-0, on Tuesday, December 4.
A penalty at the end of each half - both converted by Falcao - gave Monaco three points and a boost to 17th in the Ligue 1 table: above the league’s relegation places.
The win is Monaco’s second in its last three league games. Both victories have come on the road. Next up for Henry’s squad is a home game against Patrick Vieira’s seventh-placed Nice on Friday, December 7.
Nice is on a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions and has not conceded a goal in its last six league outings.
