Mexico seeks to become the first CONCACAF team to win a women’s U-17 World Cup.

This is just the second Women’s U-17 World Cup Final to feature a CONCACAF team. If Mexico wins it will be the first team from the region to claim the Women’s U-17 World Cup title.

Further, this is the first FIFA World Cup Final of any sort to feature referees from the Caribbean.
