The New York Red Bulls dropped three points in their visit to Philadelphia Union after losing 1-0. Polish-German striker Kacper Przbylko scored the lone goal of the night.
In the 31st minute, Przbylko opened the scoreline after striking a cross from right-back Raymon Gaddis.
Ryan Meara made two key saves in the 35th and 47th minute to keep New York in the game. The Red Bulls finished the first 45 minutes with three shots, one of them on target.
To start the second half, Head Coach Chris Armas made two substitutions and replaced Jared Stroud and Brian White for Tom Barlow and Kaku.
