Pittsburgh Riverhounds opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, when Robbie Mertz converted a penalty kick.
Mertz recorded his second goal of the match in the 61st minute, while Ropapa Mensah tripled the lead off a pass from Raymond Lee. Anthony Velarde rounded out the scoring for Pittsburgh in the 81st minute.
NYRB II forward Dantouma Toure recorded his first professional goal in the 93rd minute, after he found a pass from midfielder Cherif Dieye.
