Jill Ellis, head coach of the United States women’s national team (USWNT), announced her 22-player roster for the team’s September camp ahead of a pair of friendlies against New Zealand. Sky Blue FC defender Kelley O’Hara, a staple on the team since making her first appearance in 2010, was once again named to the roster.
“With only six matches left in 2017, we want to take advantage of the time we have together and finish the year with solid performances,” Ellis said in the official announcement. “New Zealand, South Korea, and Canada all present different challenges, and these games will round out one of the most competitive schedules the WNT program has played in a calendar year.
