Kailen Sheridan Called Up to Canada WNT for June Friendlies

Sky Blue FC rookie goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan has been named to the Canadian Women’s National team roster for a pair of upcoming friendlies against Costa Rica. The matches will be played during the international break, and the teams are set to take the field on June 8 in Winnipeg, followed by a second match on June 11.

Sheridan, the 23rd overall pick in the 2017 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft for SBFC, has been instrumental in front of the net throughout her rookie season. She currently leads the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) with 33 saves through Week 8, with Canadian teammate Stephanie Labbé right behind her with 31.
