New York Red Bulls Derrick Etienne Jr. (Haiti), Sacha Kljestan (USA) and Michael Amir Murrillo (Panama) were all away with their respective national teams last weekend.
Kljestan did not participate in the USMNT’s 6-0 win over Honduras, serving as an unused substitute for the match. It was the United States’ first victory of the Hexagonal round. Kljestan and U.S. Soccer return to action on Tuesday, March 28 at 10:05 p.m. ET against Panama.
Murrillo played 15 minutes in Panama’s 1-0 loss to Trinidad & Tobago. The defender came on for Houston Dynamo’s Adolfo Machado in the 75th minute and picked up a yellow card.
