INSIDE THE 18: Bradley Wright-Phillips Returns to Starting XI

Bradley Wright-Phillips is back in the New York Red Bulls Starting XI against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Wright-Phillips starts at forward for New York for a 10:30 p.m. ET kickoff at Avaya Stadium.

"We'll be ready to play," Head Coach Chris Armas said.

Kaku, Alex Muyl and Derrick Etienne, Jr. will lead the attacking midfield.

Sean Davis and Marc Rzatkowski anchor the defensive midfield.

"It's good to have fresh, young legs out there," Armas said. "Those guys are fearless."

Tyler Adams and Daniel Royer did not travel with the team to California.

Michael Amir Murillo, Aaron Long, Tim Parker and Kemar Lawrence make up the defensive line for the Red Bulls.
