HANOVER, N.J. – Saturday night’s win had the New York Red Bulls feeling good about the trajectory of their season, but Wednesday afternoon brought about some sobering news.
After sustaining what appeared to be hamstring knocks in their matchup with the Houston Dynamo, Jesse Marsch revealed that Gonzalo Veron, Gideon Baah, and Ronald Zubar have all been sidelined with the head coach has labeled as “significant” injuries.
“They’re all significant, so it’s more week-to-week than day-to-day,” Marsch said. “If we were playing this weekend, they wouldn’t be available. We’ll just see how we get through next week and then eventually evaluate where we are from there.
