HANOVER, N.J. – Following an intense stretch of games, head coach Jesse Marsch is taking precautions with his team as they get set for their final match before a lengthy break.
On the heels of completing their third game in nine days, the Red Bulls took advantage of a lighter training session on Wednesday in order to prepare for their matchup with Toronto FC on Saturday night.
“We took today almost as a regen day just to make sure that, after having a week with three games, we manage everything physically,” Marsch said. “It’s getting hotter, so we need to make sure that in all ways we’re ready to push on Saturday.
