Jamaica’s surprising 2-2 draw with Mexico in the last round of games has made the final rounds of Group B a little more interesting than expected. El Tri is still very much the favorite to advance from the group, but it is now firmly pursued by the Reggae Boyz.
Assuming results go to form, Mexico and Jamaica should win their remaining two group stage games and finish level on points. That would leave the group winner to be determined by (most likely) goal difference. Mexico has a seven-goal advantage over Jamaica in that regard, so no need for El Tri to sweat just yet.
