Hassan Ndam Named Finalist for 2018 USL Young Player of the Year

HARRISON, N.J. (November 6, 2018) - Hassan Ndam has been named as a finalist for the 2018 Young Player of the Year, the USL announced today.

Ndam, 20, logged 2600 minutes this season in 29 games started while leading NYRB II to a third-consecutive Eastern Conference Final appearance.

The 20-Under-20 centerback led NYRB II in all defensive categories recording 57 interceptions, 109 clearances, won 165 duels and 94 aerial duels for New York.

The award winners will be announced during USL Awards Week between Monday, Nov. 12 and Wednesday, Nov. 14.

The 2018 USL Awards were voted on by team management and a league-wide media panel that included representation from every USL market.
