Derrick Etienne Jr. and Haiti won their first match of the 2019 Gold Cup on Sunday, coming from behind to beat Bermuda 2-1 in Costa Rica.
Etienne Jr. played the entire second half and was instrumental in setting up the eventual-game-winner.
The Red Bulls midfielder made a long run down the sideline, making a cross into the box. The shot was deflected, but bounced out and was put away by Frantzdy Pierrot for his second of the match.
Haiti are back in action on Thursday, June 20 vs. Nicaragua.
