GIACOMETTI: Red Bulls bench "ready to step up" in wake of injuries

HANOVER, N.J. – It was a costly win for the New York Red Bulls at the weekend, as head coach Jesse Marsch is now working to find a solution to the dilemma on the backline.

With Gideon Baah and Ronald Zubar out indefinitely with hamstring injuries, the Red Bulls have been forced to find solutions both within and outside of the club. It has certainly given the team some pause, but defender Sal Zizzo exuded confidence in his side’s depth.

“We have some injuries at centerback with Ronald and Gideon out, but we have a deep team, and a deep team at every position,” he told NewYorkRedBulls.
