The New York Red Bulls went into BC Place on Saturday night and stole a point from the Whitecaps, after a late goal by Daniel Royer in the 90th minute, his second of the match, to level the score at two.
It’s the second brace in his last three matches for Royer, and sixth goal in his last six games.
After the match, Royer spoke to reporters about the teams’ resolve and finding a way to bounce back after being down a score.
“I think it was really important to bounce back and at least get a point out of this game,” Royer said.
