The New York Red Bulls signed MLS veteran Dilly Duka to an MLS contract on Thursday, the team announced.
The 27-year-old Duka, from Montville, New Jersey, most recently played with the Columbus Crew earlier this season.
Duka, a midfielder, is a former Red Bulls Academy product, playing with them before landing at Rutgers University, where he nabbed an All-Big East selection during his play. He also saw time in the USL Premier Development League before entering the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.
Duka was selected No. 8 overall by the Crew in the SuperDraft and went on to notch 45 appearances and two goals and five assists for the club over two-plus seasons in MLS play.
