The New York Red Bulls announced the signing of Mathias Jørgensen on Tuesday, February 21. Jorgensen joins the Red Bulls from Danish side Odense Boldklub.
The 18-year-old striker has starred for OB's U-19 team, scoring 28 goals in 25 matches. He's scored nine goals for the reserve team in nine games, as well. For the senior team, he's appeared 18 times and scored three goals.
“We are pleased to welcome Mathias to our club,” Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett said. “He is a talented young player who fits into our philosophy and playing style.
