GET TO KNOW: Head Coach Chris Armas

The New York Red Bulls have named Chris Armas as the 16th Head Coach in club history.

Armas, a Brooklyn native, played 12 season in MLS. Following his retirement from the league, he served the following season as an assistant coach for the Fire under current Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett. Since then, he returned to the New York area with his family, serving as head coach of the women’s soccer team at Adelphi University on Long Island before joining the Red Bulls in February, 2015.
