In a rare flash of club news in the downtime between the conclusion of the NWSL Challenge Cup and the start of the proposed set of intraleague friendlies that may occur this fall, Sky Blue FC announced the signing of midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe to a multi-year contract.
Cudjoe, who inked a short-term deal with the team shortly before the Challenge Cup in June after impressing coaches at an open tryout, enjoyed a breakout spell during the tournament, emerging as an energetic and technical presence in the center of the park for Sky Blue.
